Serving in Windsor and Abroad
James 1:27 teaches that “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction…” Serving our city is a large part of who we are at St. Aidan’s. We love sharing the love and compassion of Jesus with others. We also support various missionaries and mission organizations as they proclaim the word of God and serve the needy throughout the world.
Serving in Windsor
Friday Food Program
In partnership with Feeding Windsor Essex, St. Aidan’s volunteers distribute after-school snacks and bagged food for the weekend to children in our community who suffer from food insecurity.
Christmas Boxes
In partnership with William G. Davis PS, one of our local schools, we fill boxes with personalized Christmas gifts and grocery store gift cards for families who otherwise would not be able to afford presents for their children.
Senior Ministries
As a means to care for the elderly, St. Aidan’s offers regular Communion services at two retirement homes in the region: Seasons Lakeshore Retirement Community, and La Chaumière Retirement Residence.
St. Aidan’s Crafting Group
The St. Aidan’s crafting group knits and crochets warm items for those in need, including winter hats, scarves, gloves and mittens, and baby blankets.
